Hiking equipment is no longer just a fancy name for a backpack, but also an actual product.
According to an announcement from HikeLab, a San Francisco-based company that makes equipment for hiking, they’re developing the first product with “high-performance” hiking and climbing equipment that can be easily carried on your shoulder and attached to your backpack, while also being easy to handle.
“Hiking equipment and accessories will be available at select retail stores this fall,” the announcement states.
“We are excited to partner with retailers to bring these products to life.”
The company will also offer free shipping to customers who order the equipment, and Hike Lab says the new products will be ready to ship within three to five days.
The announcement makes no mention of price or availability.
HikeLab is also announcing an extension of its existing partnership with Bivol, an indoor climbing and hiking company.
The company announced this week that it will be expanding its partnership with the company to include more climbing equipment.
The companies stated on their website that they are “proud to be partnering with BIVOL to bring our indoor climbing, hiking, and outdoor gear to the outdoor world.”
